About Me
Nice to meet you here.
My name is Gerlinde, but please call me Linde. (:
Just as everybody here, I love to travel and to explore. Meeting people from around the world always keeps inspiring me.
Right now I live with my family in an old farm house in a tiny village close to Saxon Switzerland. My studies keep me quite busy, but you are always welcome here when you want to explore German village life! (:
And perhaps seek some silence or calmness.
You can also ask me for recommendations about Saxon Switzerland.
(When I am free I will do my best to guide you 😄🥾)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Denmark, I once discovered a runaway horse and I couldn't believe to really see a free horse on that field…. It felt like magic to go to that beautiful creature full of energy and to talk with it gently. After a while it even allowed me to come close to it & so I was able to bring it back to pasture. It was a big adventure for me when I was younger and it will always be a great memory among many others. 💫🐴
Teach, Learn, Share
“Please bring strange things.
Please come bringing new things.
Let very old things come into your hands.
Let what you do not know come into your eyes.
Let desert sand harden your feet.
Let the arch of your feet be the mountains.
Let the paths of your fingertips be your maps,
and the ways you go be the lines of your palms.
Let there be deep snow in your in-breathing,
and your out-breath be the shining of ice.
May your mouth contain the shapes of strange words.
May you smell food cooking you have not eaten.
May the spring of a foreign river be your navel.
May your soul be at home where there are no houses.
Walk carefully, well-loved one,
Walk mindfully, well-loved one,
Walk fearlessly, well-loved one.
Return with us, return to us,
Be always coming home.”
