Hello there! 🍄

We're Luci (26) and Tadeáš (30), couple from Czech Republic 🇨🇿.

For several years, it had been our dream to leave our country, travel, and explore the world. In November, we finally took the leap 🙏 we left our full-time jobs behind and set off to discover Southeast Asia 💚

Right now, we are in Thailand and absolutely love it here. The food, the culture, the incredibly kind people, riding scooters, and the overall vibe. We’ve also had the chance to volunteer at a local school, teaching English to children, which has been a truly meaningful experience because I’d love to start a NGO in the Czech Republic that supports children with different mother tongues. That’s why I’m curious about new cultures, approach them with respect, and enjoy learning from them 👐🌍

We also like reading, slowing down, and taking things as they come. We really love cooking for others and sharing meals, and we’re always happy to go out together for food, explore local places, or simply spend time chatting and exchanging stories 🤗

Over the next two months, we plan to keep exploring Thailand, and after that, we’re heading to Laos and Vietnam.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After a few weeks of traveling, I realized how much I miss deep, meaningful conversations with people. I’d love to meet other travelers or locals. We can go for good food at a night market, kayaking, hiking, visiting a temple, or just spending time together 🤗 I’m happy to share my stories and just as happy to listen to yours.

Lately, we've been really into electronic music (like techno, tekkno, psybass... pretty much anything with a good beat). We also enjoy going to raves. Besides that, we love oldies, dance music, and songs you can play on a guitar around a campfire.

And at the moment, we’re reading the entire Witcher saga 😍🧙‍♀️

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lucie used to be an river guide, leading canoe classes with kids.

And Tadeáš spend like a month living in cave in Tenerife.
