About Me

A 24 year old masters student that works in a bar/restaurant/hotel, enjoys nature and animals, traveling, working out, tattoos and psytrance festivals!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I’m an university student with a low income and 4 pets that needs to find cheap ways of traveling. Plus, I really love to meet people from other countries and Couchsurfing is perfect for that!

Interests

I am currently doing my masters and I’m going to specialize in Public Health Policies related to drug consumption. Also, I travel a lot and if I have the oportunity I try to study abroad.
Besides that, like I said I love tattoos and video games, so I made a Red Dead Redemption II tattoo on my left leg!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all type of music, but I am really into 60’s and 70’s psychedelic rock like Pink Floyd, The Doors, Jimmy Hendrix Experience, The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane.

I read anything scientific or historical, but currently reading Fear and Loath in Las Vegas.

I have watched all episodes of South Park at least 10 times! Love documentaries, Breaking Bad and The Wire.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was 13 and enjoying a family vacation in Jamaica and my parents had decided to do a Bob Marley tour. We ended up with a group of young Italian couples that were smoking weed freely, and no one seemed to mind, I mean it’s a cultural thing there and the guides were the ones who were selling. The tour was great, we hiked and visited many green spaces and waterfalls, we even saw a tiny cannabis crop. But the best was yet to come: Bob Marley’s birth house. This house was nothing more than a room with a bed that occupied 80% of the walking space. We entered, and a tiny place where only 2 people fit became crowded with 15, half of which were smoking. All of the sudden, a huge cloud of smoke starts taking shape and a hot box was created, and you know what I really like? I like to breathe, so I filled my lungs, inhale/exhale. You can guess what happened next, right? It only took a few minutes for the weed to kick in. I started to turn pale and feeling really dizzy, so I turned to my dad and said “I need to go outside”. I left, caught some fresh air, but still, I ended throwing up and the high lasted at least another 45min.
Now, back then I didn’t find the whole situation funny, but years later, when I started to smoke, something popped up: the first time I got high was in Jamaica, in the house where Bob Marley was born and lived in his youth. So if that isn’t wonderful then I don’t know what is!
