Overview
About Me
We are Ana and Jordi アン そして ジョーディー, a friendly couple who live in Barcelona.
- I am Ana アン and I am 45 years old. I was born in Venezuela (South America), but I have lived the last 17 years in Spain. I graduated in law and worked managing restaurants, but now I study and work as a nurse.
- Jordi ジョーディー is 47 years old and Catalan. He has been a professor of physics and chemistry, but now he makes documentaries all over the world on social issues. In fact he has two documentaries subtitled in Japanese (one about protests in Barcelona calling for more democracy, and another about the liberation movement of Western Sahara occupied by Morocco) and I will present them in Japan in August and September in universities and cafes. He practices yoga.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because we like to dive into different cultures and especially to meet nice people. It is so interesting to share and to help each other. We are good people, respectful and clean. We like to meet people, talk about our cultures and learn about it. This August and September we be in Japan to present the documentaries of Jordi and to get to know this wonderful country Japan is, so we look for hosts who can accommodate us. You won't regret it! 😃😃😃

Music, Movies, and Books
We like Latin American music (salsa, merengue, bachata...) and rock music. We like cinema a lot, because it's Jordi's profession. We also like to read a lot (before we read books, now emails and messages... ;) Although a good book is always welcome! ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jordi has travelled to many places and has made impressive documentaries.
Ana writes a blog about her life experiences.
Teach, Learn, Share
We teach Spanish, Venezuelan or Catalan cuisine. We can also teach Spanish, Catalan, English or French. If you have a guitar or a harmonica we can teach you the first sounds. We would like to learn a little Japanese language and also Japanese cuisine.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share a night of Spanish tapas cooking. Jordi can also share an evening with some of their documentaries. But we are open to share many things. All you have to do is feel like it!
