About Me

Luc, that’s my name yes.
What can I say about myself ? I don’t bite.
Seriously, I am an open minded person who really like meeting people during trips. Going on a trip for me is an adventure. It’s the occasion to leave behind us the comfort of our lifestyle. This is why I try mostly to not sleep in hostel.
Actually, I am doing architecture studies. It’s a real passion for me ! I love to share my passion with everyone who want to ear about it. In fact, I am easily passionated by every thing. I am a curious man you know. In my point of view, sharing our experiences is one of the most interesting thing to do during a trip.
Some stereotypes are never too bad haha. As every French people, I love food and cooking, and wine too ! Also, I can’t say no too a good beer. If you have a couch for me tonight, I can cook you something.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend told me about this community before I go on a bike trip this summer, from Lausanne to Berlin. I really like the concept of this community. It’s the opportunity to meet people and share our experiences during our travel.
And also, being a student means to have a lower budget.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy discovering new music. I am listening every style, from Bach or Chopin to The Cramberries or Robert Hood.
For now, I am really enjoying Techno. First tracks from Berlin in 90’ or Detroit

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A journey across China during one month, it was extraordinary !
Specially a hike in one of the most sacred place of China for Buddhists, the Emeishan mount. It was about 2 days of hike and more than 3100 m of high.
During the hike you will see a lot of little temples and monasteries where you can spent a night with a real good meal.
Though the fog, you’ll see sometimes a monk walking from a temple to an other. They are easy to see thanks to their orange clothes.
On the summit there is the main monastery and temple with a huge statue of Puxian pusa. All in gold, facing east. You have to go there to see the sunrise.
One of my most fascinating experience !
