Overview
About Me
Hello, I am graduate student from Stony Brook University in New York and study Latin American history. My dissertation is focused on housing and public transportation in Mexico City. My brain buzzes thinking of cities as processes not simply places, and how the urban experience has produced unique cultures over the years. I lived in Mexico City for the past three years and am now back in New York. I'm very aware and respectful of other people's things. I'm fairly quiet, but sociable and interested in learning about new areas of the world from someone who lives there. I don't smoke and will have no pets with me on my trips. I'm open to talking and chatting beforehand, I think the more communication the better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm preparing for a trip to Colorado with my girlfriend Monica. We mutually feel talking and interacting with people is the best way to get to know a place, its people, and what makes it tick.
I helped host couchsurfers in Mexico City last year with my roommate and it was a great experience. I'd like to try it now from the traveler side.
