I enjoy alternative indie music. I also listen to pop music and like songs sung in other languages such as Spanish, French, and Japanese.

My favorite movie from childhood is Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. I enjoy studio Ghibli films as well.

Some of my favorite books include: Life of Pi, Codename Verity, Salt to the Sea, the Warriors book series, Black Beauty, the Wasp Factory.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I went to Chennai, India with one of my best friends to work with the charity organization MyNameIsKumar for 10 days. This is an organization which takes in beggars' children and provides them with food, shelter, and education. We played with the children and helped them with their homework. It was a really fun and enlightening experience. Despite the language barrier we were able to communicate well and had a really great time spending time with them.
