About Me

Hello! I’m Puneet Verma, a 45-year-old businessman from India but live in Warsaw Poland . Traveling is my passion, and I always love to explore different countries. I consider myself a simple and emotional person who values genuine connections and meaningful conversations. I am always available to help others and look forward to meeting new people and creating unforgettable memories together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe in the power of cultural exchange and the unique experiences that come from connecting with locals. I realized that staying with locals would offer a deeper understanding of the culture, traditions, and everyday life.

I enjoy sharing my own culture as well, especially through cooking vegetarian Indian meals. Couchsurfing provides a wonderful platform to meet new people, make friends, and create lasting memories. Additionally, as someone who travels frequently for business, I find that staying with locals adds a personal touch to my trips, making them more enriching and enjoyable

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I enjoy a wide range of music, but I have a special place in my heart for Indian gazal and Bollywood hits. I also love listening to traditional Portuguese Fado music, which I discovered during my visits to Portugal.

Movies: I’m a big fan of Bollywood movies, especially those with strong storytelling and vibrant music. Some of my favorites include “3 Idiots,” “Lagaan,” and “Dil Chahta Hai.” I also enjoy international cinema, and recently, I’ve been exploring Polish films to better understand the culture.

Books: I love reading books that offer deep insights and new perspectives. Some of my favorites include “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho, “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind” by Yuval Noah Harari, and “The God of Small Things” by Arundhati Roy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I’ve done is purchasing 1.5 acres of agricultural land in Sabóia, Beja District, Portugal, and obtaining a Temporary Residence Card (TRC) in Poland as an Indian. This experience has been incredibly fulfilling as it allowed me to connect with the local community.

What I Can Share with Hosts
