About Me
--- --- --- --- --- 2024/06/19 updated --- --- --- --- ---
I was highly involved in Couchsurfing community in 2019. I did host, surf and meet interesting people through this awesome platform. Some become friends that we even keep in touch with till now.
Unfortunately Covid hit afterwards, which force me to stop all the activities here. In addition, I'm not living alone at the moment so I can’t host people right now.

Hi all! Here's a genuine guy from Taiwan🇹🇼🏳️🌈, born and raised in Taipei. After working in Shanghai, China for 2.5 years, I came back to Taiwan in 2019. My friends describe me as an approachable guy who loves adventure, likes to try new things and always think about others.
I consider myself an Extrovert that enjoys outdoor activities, while deep conversations are also very much appreciated that I’m more than willing to learn from different cultures and ideas. Both reading in quiet place and clubbing the whole night can be my things, and that all depends on the occasions and vibes!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
With more and more traveling experiences, no matter alone, with friends or with groups, I found it harder to remember all the places and scenes, while in the end the people I encountered, the meaningful conversations I had in the journey turned out to be the highlights! We change different perspectives and unique own stories to realize how beautiful life is, and I do appreciate it!
In sum, I'm here for seeking connections to make quality time and experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: “The alchemist”, “Anti-fragile”, last but not least,
“Tidying Up with Marie Kondo” is a book that encouraged me and changed my life, literally! You can find her on Netflix now!
Music: Calum Scott, Ed Sheeran, Adele, Imagine Dragons, Lewis Capaldi. To pick one song, that would be “Dancing on my own”!
Movies: Love Ang Lee, the film director of "Life of Pi", who is also from Taiwan; “ Everything everywhere all at once”, “One day”, “Definitely, maybe”, ”Weekend”. Highly recommend “Marry my dead body”, it’s a very fun and touching Taiwanese movie!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
◆ I'm a twin! (not what I've done, yet I'm born to be!)
◆ Studied hard and was lucky to get ranking No.6 on the University entrance examination in my country.
◆ Participated social movement(Sunflower Movement; google the pics) to stop the government from being out of control; and we made it!
◆ Been to Everest Base Camp which is 5200m+ height!
◆ Assisted archaeologists on an uninhabited island to dig out prehistoric remains.
◆ Come out of the closet :) Yes I’m gay :)
Teach, Learn, Share
If there's a piano, I can play it for you!
I'm an Apple fan and a macOS user for several years, willing to share some tips to use mac more wisely.
By the way, if you happen to considering changing your job, I can help revise your resume since I was a headhunter haha.
Culture-wise, I can share about traditional Chinese culture, and also tell you the difference about China and Taiwan. Political issues are welcome too ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Sharing is caring! I'm happy to hangout for a drink, having some fun, or finding a space to exchange my stories with you, about my life, Chinese and Taiwanese culture, even issues from easy to tough such as health, history, politics, tech, environment, human rights, wealth inequality...,etc. I’m also a good listener, and would be so happy to know your more!
