Música, películas y libros

As a single piece of music Vivaldi's Winter would be my favorite, though in the context of genres I like classical western music and leftist music(I am not sure if this is a genre though).
On movies I can name Das Leben der Anderen as my favorite movie. But I have a special interest for contemporary korean and classical japanese cinema.
I am reading mostly non-fiction currently, so I like any book with sound judgement. Social Origins of Dictatorship and Democracy is among my favorite books. As of fiction, I prefer Turkish ones. Because I feel like something lost in translation.

I am also willing to know what others think of society. Especially I am curious about what and why non-Turkish people think about their country.
