I'm in the middle of updating my profile since I haven't been on Couchsurfer in some time. Don't worry, all the info is up-to-date. I'd just like to add more to it so you can know me better😊.

🐼Hi! I'm Ariffin from Malaysia. I'm a student at KU Leuven in Belgium till the end of the year. Although technically I'm an intern. I do research/experimental work for academic journals. I'm working on getting my Chemical Engineering degree.

Enough about work 🤗. The real reason I'm in Europe is to travel (duh). I've been all over Belgium and to Luxembourg. My latest trip is to Amsterdam. If I had to pick my favourite place I've visited, I'd have to say it's Dinant, Belgium. It's a nice, peaceful town by the river side. Fresh seafood, fresh air and nice weather.

When I'm not looking for a new adventure, you'll find me at home enjoying a movie. I do occasionally play some video games. I'll admit I don't have the biggest stomach for partying 🤢. But with the right crowd I'll be down for anything😎. I also cook a lot, not that I'm all that good at it, to be honest.

I'd like to think I've got a good personality. Although, you can judge that for yourself if we have the opportunity to meet and hang out😏. I'm friendly, clean and I have no problem following any rules you may have if you're hosting me.

I feel like just about everyone on Couchsurfer likes travelling and meeting new people, since that's what the app is for. It's the same for me. I would like to explore as much of Europe as I can while I'm here. Belgium and Luxembourg are where I've been so far. Looking forward to Amsterdam soon😏.

I also absolutely love movies and TV shows. Nothing beats spending a quiet night with Netflix. Game of Thrones, Black Sails, Spartacus are a few of the many shows I've watched. I'm always open to recommendations for new shows.

Besides that, I really enjoy cooking, more than I enjoy eating the food I've made😅. I'm not much of a chef, but I really like cooking and trying out new recipes no matter the results.
