my name is Makeda, I am 20 years old and from Vienna. I am spending my summer in France to improve my french and meanwhile explore the country. I am currently working as fille au pair in western France and I have some time during the weekends to visit places nearby.

a little bit about myself: I am an easy going and open minded person who likes to be surrounded by people. I enjoy listening to peoples stories and experiences. Seeing different ways of living inspire me for my own life that I try to make more multifacated. I am curious about peoples mindsets, interested in politics, culture and sociology and like to discuss. Apart from that I love to cook and to explore different cuisines/ cooking habits around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The 5 months I spent in Ethiopia where I volunteered at a project working in a kindergarten for 3 months and after that traveled. During this journey had the chance to properly get to know the country of my origin.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Since I enjoy cooking very much it would be a pleasure to cook some traditional Austrian or vegetarian dishes if wanted
Apart from cooking I like to share my language knowledge and travel experiences and I am also very curious what you have to tell :)
