About Me

A science student who tries to educate herself and get to know life best as she can. Watching and reading are not enough for me to achieve my mission, I need to travel. I have been trapped in my hometown for 19 years and there is too much energy in me! 2 years ago, I didn't have enough money for the usual way of traveling which introduced me to the wonderful hitchhiking and Couchsurfing communities. I was doing computational neuroscience and travelling Europe on Summer'21. Now, I am on an Interrail trip for 1 month to experience new cultures before starting my MSc/PhD in Berlin. Looking forward to meet you all!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best way of travelling since it allows me to know, meet and travel with people. I look forward to meet amazing hosts and hangout with travellers on my Interrail journey :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to Muse, Pink Floyd, Placebo, classical music, jazz, blues... I dance to swing music, I do mountaineering and many other things (no more spoilers).
Movies: Mostly mind-blowing, some old, some science-fiction
Books: Mostly popular science (any kind), some philosophy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked from Turkey to Greece, slept on parks on my Balkan trip, and spent nothing on hostels. Because the mission was to use 250 Euros I have saved from my scholarship on a 6 day trip (and it worked)!
I travelled to a new city every weekend in my internship period in Italy: Trieste-Verona-Milano-Venice-Tarvisio-Vienna-Ljubliana-Rome
I met amazing hosts and surfers in each of them!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach basic moves from Swing dancing, share information about natural sciences (my real passion in life), talk about philosophy and life (which I am not really sophisticated but really interested in :), sing with the music, teach how to cook Turkish food, and talk about a lot of topics for hours (beware of many questions!). I will try to learn as much as I can on my trip, get to know people and cultures best as I can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a cheerful person with much to talk about. I am crazy good with pets and I can also help you cook/do housework, I stay with the house rules. I can braid your hair, sing with you, talk, try to learn together, and teach things to each other.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
