I’m Dana, a 20-year-old, open-minded, adventurous and committed Latin-American-addict from Germany.
Having just finished Highschool I will spend some time traveling Central America before attending University.
I’m interested in the Spanish language, Hispanic culture and further intercultural encounters. Besides being a passionate dancer I like to sing, play table games or participate in teamsports.
I am fluent in English and German and trying to learn Spanish at the moment.

Soy Dana, una adicta latinoamericana de 20 años, de mente abierta, aventurera y comprometida de Alemania.
Después de terminar la secundaria, pasaré un tiempo viajando por América Central antes de asistir a la Universidad.
Estoy interesado en el idioma español, la cultura hispana y otros encuentros interculturales.
Además de ser un bailarín apasionado, me gusta cantar, jugar juegos de mesa o participar en deportes de equipo.
Hablo inglés y alemán con fluidez y estoy tratando de aprender español en este momento.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting other people has always been normal in my family, we have already had students from the USA, Japan, South Africa and Finland.
But even though I already stayed abroad with local families, it will be my first time using CouchSurfing this year.
Traveling is not about the places you go, but the people you meet and the experiences you make. I want to become part of an international community, make new friends and take part in the process of intercultural understanding.

Alojar otras personas siempre ha sido normal en mi familia. Ya hemos tenido estudiantes de Estados Unidos, Japón, Sudafrica y Finlandia. Pero aunque ya me quedé en el extranjero con familias locales, será la primera vez que use CouchSurfing este año.
Viajar no se trata de los lugares a los que vayas, sino de las personas que conoces y las experiencias que haces. Quiero formar parte de una comunidad internacional, hacer nuevos amigos y participar en el proceso de comprensión intercultural.
