My name is Ecem Erek, I'm from Turkey and I live in Ankara which is capital of Turkey. I am studying at Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences International Relations in Turkey. I'm doing Erasmus in Latvia and I am going to live here until February 8, 2020. Erasmus is kind of student mobility for studies. I came here to learning other cultures, education systems and historys. I have English and Turkish and also I'm learning Russian.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here because I want to travel and learn others culture. And you can learn a culture best from people living in that culture so I want to stay with local family or students. An additional, I am a student and I want to spend my money to see countries and cities, I don't want to spend my money for hotels or hostels.

In fact, I love most genres and listen to it with pleasure, but I think I'm not very good with rock music. Other than that, I love historical movies and quotations from real events. A little love films, of course. I like international politics, histories of nations and biographical novels. In my spare time, I try to read poetry and love books.
