Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Amedeo Klaus Alves. My biological mother is German and my biological father is Brazilian. I have three younger sisters from my mother. At age 10, I had the honor of learning indigenous survival techniques in a village. I remember that almost every weekend my family went to campings, regardless of whether it was sunny or rainy. I grew up in contact with nature, freedom, raves, alternative music festivals like Psicodália, Burning Man, João Rock, Rock in Rio, Lollapalooza. I graduated in law. At 24, I had the idea of making a backpack with my friend Anita and my friend Miguel. The three of us worked in exchange for food, the three of us worked for accommodation, the three of us slept in strangers' houses that eventually became our friends, the three of us slept in roadside camping tents, the three of us traveled for a ride. It was a trip full of happiness and perrengue. It was the craziest time of our lives. I'm a cop. Because of my busy lifestyle and job, I hardly find myself at home, but when I find myself at home, the house is always full of family and friends having a party. My friends are greeted by my dog named Tisbe, of the Dachshund Teckel breed. I am organized and I respect the space of others. I try to be nice and kind to create healthy relationships. I live in an apartment and seek to create a pleasant environment for future guests. My home is a place of mutual respect, without discrimination, without prejudice. I'm not very outgoing, but I'm not shy either, I just need a little more contact to feel comfortable. I care about inequality in all its forms and dream of a world where all people can develop their potential.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Be another link in this chain of good. I like to meet people and at this stage of my life I want to do things with other people without business mediations. The Couchsurfing proposal meets my expectation of a less monetary-mediated life. I think the generosity, willingness to create a friendly bond, breaking down barriers, and the respect that Couchsurfing experiences can give are all enriching. When I visit a city, even though it is not possible to stay at someone's house, I like to go out and see the city with a resident. The experience is giant. Couchsurfing is exchange, experience, empathy. It's not cheap accommodation, it's not a hotel, it's not a favor. Please don't offer me money or look for "a sleeping corner and a quick shower without bothering".
