Hello! I’m Selene and I am Mexican 🇲🇽 I am currently living in the Netherlands and so far I’ve loved it! Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this might be the best experience to see places through the eyes of locals, as well as to make friends and learn about other people’s lives. In my opinion one of the best things about traveling is the people you meet along the process, as well as the things you learn about them, and what better way to do it than through Couchsurfing 🤗

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love historic and dramatic novels, and I’m currently obsessed with Isabel Allende 🤪. As for the music I like metal and classic, but I’m pretty much open to every genre. Horror movies are the best 😌 though dramas and action are great too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don’t think I’ve done anything incredible 🤭 moving to the Netherlands is pretty much the most interesting thing I’ve done so far... oh, wait, once I got bitten by a lion 🦁

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a pretty decent cook and therefore I would be happy to show you how to prepare real (not hard-shell tacos nor chili con carne, we don't even have those) Mexican food 🤤 of course Spanish comes along with it, so I can teach you some vocabulary too! If you’re interested in traveling to Mexico I could also offer you some pretty good tips and advice you where to go (other than Cancun and Mexico City, those are pretty great, but believe me, there’s more than that!), what to eat and how to travel 🧳

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a pretty flexible person, so I can adjust myself to your needs 😁 want to hangout and have long conversations with a good cup of coffee? I’d love that! You’re too busy and hence want to keep to yourself? That’s fine too 😌 I understand that we all have different needs at different times, so let’s just find a middle-ground and feel comfortable with each other. One thing about me is that I don’t like clubbing nor partying, and I don’t drink nor smoke, I'm like a young grandma ☺️
