Overview
About Me
I was born and grew up in a small village in La Pampa, Argentina. Then I moved to Cordoba, a major city in Argentina, where I took my teacher training course at university. I'm an enthusiastic English teacher and I've been teaching English for over 20 years now, which is how I earn a living at the moment. I'm outgoing and enjoy hanging out with friends. Surfing the Net and watching TV are two of my free time activities. I'm very keen on making handcrafts - anything related to antique Christmas ornaments. I collect vintage Christmas ornaments and I'm a big fan of The Smurfs ;) which is why Belgium is one of my favourite spots when I visit Europe. I can also find myself playing a bit of piano sometimes!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have usually been to hostels, but some friends of mine who love travelling told me about their great experiences with Couchsurfing, so they have inspired me to try it out myself. Also, doing this will make my travels a bit more affordable, as well as giving me the chance to socialise with local residents.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love pop music, chill - out, ballads and Argentinian rock music. I don't usually watch films. I love non - fiction when it comes to reading - I'll read anything from cookery to bonsai growing!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was travelling in Zanzibar, I happened to be walking past a school and my partner suggested we could pop in and teach an English lesson - out of the blue... It was nerve-racking but a truly enjoyable experience!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm willing to help out with house chores - cooking, in particular, is a passion of mine! I can look after your pets if necessary.
