I am an 18 year old soon-to-be traveller (despite what my profile says I am 18). I am taking a gap year before starting university to see the world a bit and to make more friends. I love culture, art, exploring, good times, etc. I will be soon studying Nutritional Science, although I’m not the greatest cook but I can tell you the nutritional value of your food if that’s worth anything!

I’m on couch because I would love to meet new people and have more experience travelling.

Interests

I’m really interested in nutrition (but don’t worry I won’t bore you with that). I enjoy hikes, bike rides, patting dogs, reading, listening to music (especially live), and movies.

I listen to all music, but mostly rock and indie. I read a lot of Stephen King. My favourite films are Almost Famous, Seven, Pulp Fiction (so quirky, I know).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve travelled to a few places, but my first trip seeing culture was to Vanuatu to build school libraries for villages. I had an amazing experience learning the language, eating the traditional food and living in the village. Travel isn’t staying in hotels, it’s experiencing the culture in my opinion.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can make a mean tea, and perhaps French toast if you’re lucky.
