About Me

Hi, my name is Brandon and I've been traveling for about three months now. I started my journey in Spain and made my way from Barcelona, to Madrid, to the Valencian cost, and now I am in Columbia continuing my journey exploring countries of Latin America! I studied biology at my university because I have a passion for science, and I love discussing interesting topics around science, philosophy, politics, and pretty much anything under the sun. I have had tons of different jobs, like being a server in a restaurant, and being a research assistant in an USDA labratory. In addition, I have done all kinds of odd jobs through Workaway over the past few months while I've been traveling from cooking to cleaning to childcare, farming, gardening, construction, and of course teaching!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my favorite things right now is meeting new people, laughing, and learning new things about the world. I think traveling and learning about new cultures is a beautiful and eye-opening thing, and I hope we get to meet some time in the near future.
