ABOUT ME

I am kt writing this profile .. but we (the bike shop) are the host! In the summer the shop is a booming little spot in the middle of a tiny colonial town on a little island near a beach. Rick is my partner and we have staff and wooffers and visitors and couch surfers galore visiting here from May first through October fifteenth.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

we are avid hospitality list members. the warm showers list, and more! we love to visit with folks from all over, especially cyclists! the more we share our stories and hear yours the more we are reassured that we are all part of the same song. We always give priority to folks arriving on BICYCLES... and are most interested in folks travelling long distances and adventuring with BICYCLES...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is hard to even imagine one story about one set of folks ... but after years as hosts my mom (liz) and I went surfing ourselves and saw it all from the other side! The connections we made while away from our homes were so poignant and terrific and they have extended into our lives even now. Change the world! ... one meal at a time.

兴趣

bikes, fun, laughing, eating, riding more bikes, good books, making pies, killing garlic mustard, trying to get smarter, eating pies and yummy foods and recently, believe it or not, hula hooping and playing the nose flute! I love making breakfast, and I love that first cup of coffee, but Rick likes to get up early and go straight into his garden.

Rode the mountainbike race course in Ojinaga, Mexico ... truly the most wacky, exiciting and heartpounding nine miles of my life! soaked for hours in the lithium hot springs in Chinati, Texas/ so many things still left to do! Paddled the Rockslide in the Rio Grande both solo and tandem.
