About Me

Last year I was finally able to travel, which I had planned for a while, but wasn't able to do for reasons (Covid being one). After finishing school I did a trip across North America and loved every second of it. Obviously, that wasn't enough, so now I'm travelling to Australia and Southeast Asia. I'm thrilled to see even more of the world than I have so far. I want to learn about and primarily experience new things, cultures and people in order to widen my horizon and to fully realize who I am as a person before continuing my education!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has been an incredible experince for me so far and I'd love to keep being part of such an amazing community. I'm always looking for new and exciting people to meet and maybe spend a couple fun afternoons or evenings together, helping me get to know the best places in the area and make my stay with them a great memory for us both!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a fan of Classic Rock and mostly any older music. I really like Queen and I'm currently going through a long list of music recommendations, so if you have any, I'm happy to add them! My favorite kind of movies and shows are the ones I have no idea where the story is taking me and isn't at all predictable. Favorite example 'Pulp Fiction', also Monty Python's Humor. Other Interest include casual gaming, reading and hiking in the alps. While traveling I read 'The Hobbit', 'LotR' and started the Discworld series. I've also been getting into bouldering last summer. For years, I've also been part of a local Brass Band, playing traditional bavarian and modern music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Several years ago I've been to Rome and it was incredibly interesting. The experience of such a full history that still remains today has been fascinating and only furthered my interest in travelling.
Going hiking in the alps is also something I quite enjoy. Being on top of a mountain, away from regular life and close to nature is just such a beautiful experience.
My three month long trip across North America last year was the first time for me to get ouside of europe as well as traveling alone and it's been incredible. I learned a lot about myself and about how much I enjoy seeing the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a fairly strong Amateur at chess, so if anyone wants to play and maybe learn a thing or two from each other, I'm more than happy to do so!

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, England, France, Indonesia, Italy, Latvia, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, Thailand, United States, Vatican City State, Viet Nam
