Hi, my name is Anastasia and I'm a professional student. But that's hardly a good enough reason to become friends with anyone, right? Perhaps, a better strategy would be to open up about venturing to the U.S. from Russia at the age of fifteen as a naive high school student. Being a first-generation immigrant and a doctor in training I can talk about many shenanigans that I've gotten myself into. I love meeting new people and I hope we have a chance to get to know each other better!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I mentioned in my bio, I'm studying to be a doctor. Finally graduating this year and interviewing across the country to land my first job! What a better way to choose the city to live in than by meeting a local! And my student loans can only buy so many hotels/air bnbs during this costly interview process. So here I am...venturing into couchsurfing! :-)
