I'm just an adventure seeking viking enthusiast ready to take on the wilderness of Iceland, Scottish Highlands and stunning medieval Edinburgh in the summer of 2020.

I am generally a quite happy person with a very open mind and heart. I like to meet new people and talk about anything. I like fun. I enjoy the comforts of good company. I do however also like the freedom of solitude.

As a CS'er I will be a most respectful guest of your privacy and property. I am very clean and tidy, my parents raised me well. Just tell me if there is anything I can do for you!

My travels include a mission: To take pictures of beautiful nature and of me in viking/pagan costumes surrounded by spectacular scenery. Do you know of any good places to go?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet interesting, fun-loving people during my travels!

CS is a great alternate solution to my other methods of travelling.
My main approach will be using WorkAway for volunteering, but if I do not find something that works for me in the area I would like to visit, I'll turn to couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Viking/pagan/folk inspired music. I also have a rather ingrown taste for different sub genres of metal like melodic death metal, symphonic and folk metal. Favorite instrument is the violin.

I have read the entire Harry Potter series. Would like to read the viking sagas or something about ancient mytholgies.

I love any kind of fantasy/sci-fi themed or action super hero movies. Period dramas as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been part of a viking market festival, spending days in a reconstructed viking village in the forest and feasting with people from all over europe, cheering our toast to nature with our horns full of mead.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook! I do it for a living.

Very fond of animals, can look after your dog and take it for a walk.

Do you need help with painting a room or wallpapering? I can do that!

Let's practice languages together, you teach me some useful phrases (or swear words..) in your tongue, and I'll teach you some of my own! :P
