Overview
About Me
I am a young woman living in the sunny town of Muizenberg in South Africa, I recently moved here into a lovely old house - and am looking to share this great space with fellow travelers.
I like cooking and baking, going on adventures, I'm always making music, snapping photos with my film camera and hanging out in nature. There are great places where I live to hike and boulder/climb, and have outdoor picnics; and that's what I prefer to do with my time.
I also love to travel, and have spent a fair amount of time playing host at backpackers here in the Southern peninsula, so I'm happy to give travel tips, suggestions and hang out with new people visiting my hood.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a budget traveler, and so I aim to avoid hotels and the like when I'm on a mission. I prefer to be part of the sharing culture that our generation has created - meaning I'm keen to share my space and lifestyle, and experience the space and lifestyles of others in the places I visit. Making connections, making friends, getting global, that's what it's all about!

Music, Movies, and Books
There are many great works out there, I couldn't choose only one of each.
I like all the classics,
techno, jazz, r&b, acoustic, folk, rock, hip hop, etc.
The Naked Lunch, by William Borroughs
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've camped in the desert for 60 days, building a desert Utopia called AfrikaBurn. That's where I met my housemate Richard - and we live together in this old Muizenberg beach house.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach Yoga, join me for a class.
I share music and lyrics, always ready to lay down some bars. Make music?? great! Join us at a jam session.
I want to learn more about film photography, surfing, cooking other local cuisines, making things, etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
When I am staying at your space, I am always down to play a bit of music (if it's appropriate!),
I like to document my travels by taking portraits of the people I meet.
I can offer a Hatha Yoga Class.
I can offer traditional South Africa food (really nothing fancy...), tips for traveling through Africa.
And the general warmth of an African smile :)
