I’m Oktay from Turkey. I live in Denizli. I am 26 years old. I am curious about other countries history, culture, food and people. I’m in Poland now. Cause my girlfriend living in here as an Erasmus student. And we have lots of plans about travel. I’m really excited these trips. I went to go Kiev, 2 years ago. This was my first abroad experience. And now, I'm here to live more with my girlfriend. We will go to Italy, France, Amsterdam, Cologne, Vietnam and again Kiev. I want to see more places, but I have a limited time. I would very much like to come back later and continue my dream. Now, I'm taking a nice step for my dream.

I'm a clean person, I like being tidy and I try to keep it going in my life. I like to cook, I like to eat more. I am always open to new tastes, ideas and experiences. I am very interested in researching the history of places I have visited and seen. It's fascinating for me to live the past, the moment I'm in it. So it's very important for me to visit and learn new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here beacuse I have big dreams. I want to travel more and more. I am curious about different cultures, people, countries. I have friends who use couchsurfing and they have really unforgottable memories about their couches, and I am jealous of them :)

However, I do not enough money to stay any hotel or hostel because I am just student trying to survive :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been smoking for nine years. I left to go on this journey. I think that's the biggest step I've ever taken for me. I also went abroad for the first time 2 years ago with my friends. I was free, courageous. It gives me great pleasure to remember those days.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some Turkish food if you want. I like to chat, and it gives me great pleasure to get to know you, your culture and your country. My friends say my conversation is good. I would say that I am a good listener and a good guide if necessary.

I also want you to know that you're always there is also a home to come to Turkey. Me and my girlfriend, we take great pleasure to welcome friends who come to Turkey. I'm so excited for that!
