**Currently Travelling**

Hello! We're a married couple from Yorkshire, northern England and have been backpacking for years and years. We're not young in age but we definitely are young in outlook.

We've done plenty of couch surfing but somehow we lost our profile, history, everything. No matter, it's never too late to do something new :-)

We LOVE meeting new people, sharing experiences, exploring places and seeing them through the eyes of real people not the guide book.

Food, love it! Neil; he will try anything at all, Jon's adventurous too but as she's vegetarian sticks mostly to plant based meals and dairy. We both love to snack too, day or night.

We prefer to be outdoors than inside, Green spaces, ocean, beach, parks, anywhere there is nature really. We avoid plastic and absolutely never, not ever do we drop litter.

Oh, this is important, we are 100% animal lovers. We do loads of volunteer work at rescue shelters and have helped out in Thailand, Egypt, Cambodia, India, Guatemala.. just to name a few.

MeetIng citizens of the world.The Staying with people and learning about their lives is enriching and great fun too. We share and help out with whatever we can.

We share a love of rock music, older stuff like Queen, Led Zep, Eric Clapton etc also Blues.
Jon reads lots of crime novels, Val McDermit, Peter James. Some fantasy and horror too. Anything really!
Neil likes action thriller films. Jmm is more into Pirates of the Caribbean and Toy Story. We both like Shrek, Men In Black and Despicable Me. (Minions rock!)

Ridden down the Mekong river, in a long tail boat, which was falling apart, and survived

Saved and/or changed the lives of numerous dogs. So very rewarding and worthwhile. Doesn't feel "amazing", just , right🐶
