Ciao a tutti, I'm Beatrice (23yr) and I'm looking forward to meet you!
I have been periodically traveling for the past 7 years and still going strong. I have been traveling around India for the past weeks and on the 3rd February my best friend, Andrea (24yr), will join me and we’ll be in Thailand for some time. He is an aerospace engineer, while I’m an off-duty researcher in the field of marine conservation. We are both sports enthusiasts (especially beach volleyball and rock climbing) and scuba divers, and we love everything involving animals, nature and obviously traveling.
We enjoy the simple things and we are eager to learn about new cultures, new people and new places. Also, we can both fall asleep anywhere, even on your floor :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m passionate about a wide range of music genres, from rock to jazz. I’m a bit of a nerd so I love diving into intriguing books, with a preference for nonfiction. As for movies, my friends are doing their best to build my cinematographic knowledge, which right now is sadly scarce. I’m always open to new recommendations and eager to create my new trip soundtrack with your help :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-When I was 15 I left for Brazil and I lived there for 1 year;
-When I was 17 I worked as a snorkeling guide in Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt)
-When I was 21 I did the first study ever on a new species of shark in South Africa

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak Italian, Portuguese, English and Spanish, and I’m currently studying Russian. Also, I can have very basic conversations in Arabic. If you’re looking for someone to have a chat in one of these languages I’m your girl.
Also I have a degree in Wild Animal Care and I love fun facts, did you know that a newborn kangaroo is the size of a lima bean? I worked in different Rescue Centers, for both terrestrial and marine animals, so I can tell you how a wide range of animals poop.
People say I can cook as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share some quality time, maybe cooking some Italian dishes or sharing knowledge about our culture and languages. If you have pets I would be more than happy to help taking care of them. And obviously, if you’ll ever come to Verona (Italy) you will have a new friend waiting for you there.
