My name is Artrick Tang(唐). I like to read books. I am not real good at any sport, but I like simple hiking. I don't eat a lot per meal but eat many times in a day. I will say "I'm always eating."

After couple years living in east coast of Taiwan, I move back to Taipei recently. Even I closed my hostel there, I still want to host travelers and share and show Taiwan life and culture.

I can show you delicious food. If you have interest in learning Chinese, I could teach some. Trust me if you could speak some Chinese, you will have better experience in Taiwan.

My apartment is located in Banqiao district of New Taipei City. It will take 20 minutes by bus or 40 minutes by walk to reach my place from Banqiao station. You will stay in real local community. However, please still consider your traveling time.

Some Rules in my place:
Do NOT eat and drink in rooms.
Smoking is fine but only on the balcony.
Don't make any big sound including guitar after 9 PM.
You may use the kitchen, but keep the places clean.
Do recycling.
Put your shoes outside.
Before you use the washing and dry machine, let me know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I knew couchsurfing from a book"在家環遊世界！：400沙發客住我家" years ago and that shocked me a lot. In 2020, I made a new year goal: meet new friends. That is why you see me here. Doing couchsurfing takes courage. Through couchsurfing, I hope to learn more about myself and challenge myself also.
