Overview
About Me
I grew up in several countries: Algeria, Korea, Yemen and Germany. As adult, I also lived in several countries: France, Denmark, Sweden and Germany.
I live in a big flat in the vicinity of Frankfurt in central Germany. You get in the city by direct subway and the station is 5 minutes walk from here. I have plenty of space here. It is clean, but I am not the most orderly person and do not expect any kind of luxury.
I have studied physics, thus I love science. But I also love philosophizing about many things, cosmology, God, reincarnation, nature, psychology...
I love traveling and meeting people having different ways of thinking.
Note that I have a dog, she is well educated but she will need a couple of minutes to welcome you -- unless you play with her!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My girlfriend and I were actually looking for places to stay in Georgia. That is how we found this community. But I am fully open to welcome people too. I think that can be very interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sleeping with friends in a tent on a wild beach - nobody around for kilometers - making a big fire
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been teaching maths, physics, english and french. So, if you ask for staying at my place, I will assume you want some class in maths :-)
My philosophy is to never stop learning.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am clearly not the guy who hangs out and has a beer.
I love political, philosophical, scientific, religious and psychological discussions. I love input of other views than my own thinking. It is enriching!!! I have a deep respect for people who think for their own, resulting in me having friends with somewhat "surprising" opinions.
Here one of my preferred quotes: "Go risk your head and think a thought which until now no one has had; go risk your step and walk a path which until now no one has trod; so that Man may build himself, and not be made by anyone or anything." (Friedrich von Schiller)
Here the original: "Wage deinen Kopf an den Gedanken, den noch niemand dachte, wage deinen Schritt auf den Weg, den noch niemand ging, auf das der Mensch sich selbst schaffe und nicht gemacht werde von irgendwem oder irgendetwas." (Friedrich von Schiller)
