I am a Dutch student and currently living in Medellín for my internship. During my work I communicate in English and in my free time I fill my days learning Spanish, dancing, meeting friends etc. I study International Hospitality Management and I got the opportunity to study in Thailand en Bali before I came to Colombia. Furthermore, I am endlessly in love with chocolate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I met a friend in the bus while traveling in Ecuador and she invited a friend from couch surfing to hang out for a day. I had such a great experience so I decided to start couch surfing, which I was not familiar with before, to also meet amazing people.

Interests

I love to do adventurous activities such as hiking, surfing, skiing or riding a motorbike. Visiting a museum is not really my thing. Sometimes I read books, but I prefer a movie. Furthermore I dance salsa & bachata, I watch the news and I love to learn how to cook local food

Bachata, pop, Carlos Baute. I try to watch new movies but I keep repeating The Fast and The Furious, Colombiana and Think like a man too.

I would like to share my experience regarding traveling in Asia, living in The Netherlands and working in the hospitality industry. And if you do not dance already, I can also teach you some salsa and bachata moves, but like the basics.
