I’m Claire from France ! I really love travelling, meeting new people, discovering new landscapes and cultures. My mum comes from Madagascar so I grew up in a mix of culture and it’s helped me to open my mind !

I love art, I danced so many years, and I loved photography! I always bring with me my camera 📷

I m teacher at primary school but also french teacher for foreigners, I worked in différents countries in pedagogy and education projects.

So I will be happy to teach you a bit of french📚

Couchsurfing can be the perfect way to have an immersive experience in a new place as sharing time with local people. I’m super friendly and open minded, I will be happy to share a glass of red wine, a song, a joke, a travelling experience, a piece of life... whatever .. with you !

Current situation : After one year in Dakhla (Sahara) where I worked as teacher and I met my new partner in life, we are settling together in Cotonou (Benin) from September 2024 where I’m also working as a teacher in a french primary school ! I love so much art ! I danced so many years contemporary and classical dance.
I love also photography and I bring always with me my best travel buddy : my camera ! Its a good way for me to keep in mind moments, landscapes, smiles... and add it into my memory box !

I m also doing lot of sport and I’m trying to have a more conscious, respectful and healthier way of life, as trying to reduce my consume of meat for example, take care of my body and my mind, and take care of the others and the planet. It’s not easy to find a balance but we can always do better and improve !

And of course I love speaking and sharing with new people . They are so many ways to learn and to increase our knowledge, and sharing with people it’s a good way to do it ! So if you don’t like chatting, don’t meet me ahaha
