About Me

I am from Argentina. Big fan of nature and animals. I upcycle furniture at the moment.... It goes hand in hand with my believes of reducing consumption and working with what we have. I love being outdoors. I've done some gardening as well. Art inspires me to always try to make everything look pretty.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like interacting with people who enjoy sharing their time meeting other cultures. So far my experiences have been amazing. The exchange is full of love. This fascinates me. The bond tends to be very friendly and kind. When travelling alone it's great to have someone to share some time with. The best part of it is how it starts with a handshake and end with a hug.

Interests

I love detail and challenges. I'm strong and when I get a purpose in my mind it's hard to stop me. Always think positive and things will work out. Life is too short to be stuck in pitty or anger.

Music, Movies, and Books

Alessandro Baricco's Ocean Sea was a fascinating book I read and would read over and over. The Little Prince is a must everyone should read as well. Love giving it as a present to young kids. Music..... From Buena Vista social club to Billie holiday and Radiohead and Floyd and Nick mulvey and Nick Drake and Nick cave (lots of Nick's!!!!) I used to love alternative music in my teenage years... Started out with Nirvana and all. The grunge. Then stepped into 80s. Love dancing to 80s!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I restaured the fachade of an antique building and it was the best job I ever had.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe it's important to give back to nature. We take a lot. O like to spread the word that I tend to bring with me food like carrots and peanuts on walks. If you pay attention in the paths you take, you can notice the presence of animals. Wildlife is struggling to survive and with time they have less and less resources. I always throw this type of food in my walks. Also some balls of cotton that allows them to build warmer nests fro squirrels and rabbits for example.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live with my husband in a small town South West from.oxford. there's a spare room with a sofa bed. I cook alternative and healthy food from.the typical English stuff. Oxford is 20 minutes away by car (1 hour by bus) and it's a beautiful city.
