Hey, I’m Jérémy, French but I’ve been living in Helsinki in Finland since 2020 ! 🇫🇷🇫🇮

I’ve worked as a carpenter and furniture maker for many years but in 2021 I stepped in the restaurant industry, and got hooked ! It’s such a great way to socialize and meet people, especially as an expat. Also I love (natural) wine so that’s great in that regard 😆

I am a really outdoorsy person, I love hiking, biking, being out in the forest picking mushrooms, and just love nature in general. On the opposite side, I also do love a good rainy day spent indoors watching series and snacking.

I’ve been using Couchsurfing pretty much only as a surfer up until now but finally I’m getting into a more stable situation and I could accept to host if I have the time for that. Please read my home section.

I am vegetarian so if I host you let’s have vegetarian food, it really is tasty trust me !

Bikepacking 2000km across Finland/Sweden during summer 2024.

Unexpectedly participating in a traditional Shinto ceremony held in a tiny shrine in Kyoto’s forest.

Traveling solo in Japan for a month.
