Hi! I’m Daniel, 27, originally from Bogotá, Colombia. For the last few years I’ve been living in Germany while doing my master’s in environmental science at Christian-Albrechts-Universität in Kiel.
I’m a very social and curious person and I love meeting people from different backgrounds. For me Couchsurfing is about sharing stories, experiences, and perspectives rather than just finding a place to sleep.
I enjoy walking around cities, discovering cafés, spending time in nature, and having long conversations about culture, travel, and life in general.
I love traveling and adventure in general. I want to meet new people and learn new things
I speak Spanish and English and I’m currently improving my German.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

For me Couchsurfing is about meeting people and sharing experiences. I think the best way to understand a place is through the people who live there.
I enjoy conversations, exchanging ideas, and learning from different perspectives. Traveling becomes much more meaningful when you connect with locals instead of just visiting places.

Intereses

I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. I used to play soccer and go climbing a lot, but after a knee injury a couple of years ago I mostly go to the gym now. I’m also very interested in ecology and environmental topics since that’s what I study.
I really enjoy exploring cities, walking around, finding good cafés, and meeting people from different cultures. Traveling is something I love, especially solo travel. Over the past few years I’ve traveled around Europe quite a bit and I always enjoy discovering new places and perspectives.

Música, películas y libros

I really enjoy going to the cinema whenever I can. I’m a big Marvel fan and generally like movies with a good story.
For books, I especially like historical novels. I enjoy stories that mix history with fiction and help you see different periods of the world.

Solo traveling around Europe has been one of the most amazing experiences for me. I’ve had the chance to explore many cities on my own, meet people from all over the world, and step outside my comfort zone many times. Those experiences always remind me how interesting and diverse the world is.
