We are two 18-year-old girls from Vienna. We are travelling together, therefore we made an account for the both of us.
We would like to tell a little bit about ourselves:

My name is Cornelia. I am 18 years old and I live in Austria in Vienna. Recently I graduated school. I went to a Steiner School for 12 years. There I learned how wonderful art can be, I love painting and drawing, most of all I love drawing portraits. Music is very important to me and I used to play the cello and still play the piano. Also, I like listening to music, for example to pop music and to classical music. Furthermore, I enjoy reading books, especially crime stories. I don’t have any pets, but I am an animal lover. My grandmother has got two baby cats and they are incredibly cute. I enjoy travelling. I have been to Irkutsk (Russia) and went to school there to improve my Russian. There I lived with a host family for a month. I have also been to Perth (Australia) where I stayed with a very nice host family as well. I stayed with them for three months and attended a Steiner School.

My name is Samira. I am an 18-year-old girl from Vienna (Austria). Recently I graduated school. After attending a public school, I went to a Steiner School for eight years. I love animals and I enjoy taking care of them. Myself I have a cat named Tortuga. Three years ago, I was part of a student exchange program in Michigan/USA and lived with my host family for three months on a farm. I really enjoyed living there. I have also been to Russia and lived in a small city called Irkutsk with another host family and stayed there for one month. There, as well as in Michigan I attended a Steiner School. Since I was little, I went to a circus school once a week where I learned skills like juggling, riding a unicycle and some air acrobatics. Last year I was also teaching younger children there. Since almost four years I am a vegetarian, because I do not want animals to be killed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We both love to travel! Since we graduated school we are going to travel through Europe. We want to enjoy our freedom! As we want to learn something about other cultures we would be happy to find hosts to share our culture.

Our student exchanges were great! We experienced how to live in another coutry and what it feels like to live with other people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We would love to show our hosts something about our culture, for example by cooking a typical Ausrian meal. We would also be very happy to learn something about our host's culture.
