I'm Albert
I spent last year at Duke University, and right now I'm on a "gap-year" trip around the world.
I love to read popular science literature, work out, eat and sleep a lot, but my biggest hobby is doing crazy stuff like:
- fast for a week to figure out how my body will react
- betting with a buddy about finishing a marathon/
- learning how to resist cold and swim in the pool full of ice as a part of the experience
- jumping with parachute/bungee.
- eat a pizza with 2 million capsaicin peppers
- compete in a hitch-hiking race at a distance of 1350 miles.

I'm pretty sure that we can share with each other interesting stories, so excited to meet you!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm trying to push myself to do "new" stuff.
Currently on ~5000 miles trip from Durham NC (USA) to Panama City by car.
I do sleep in the car, but I think that BaB is a great way to meet people (and take a free shower from time to time).

Algo increíble que he hecho

Definitely the craziest thing I did was taking a part of a 1350 mile hitch-hiking trip.
The race was between Wrocław (Poland) and Cirò Marina (Italy). There were over 1000 pairs in the competition. Together with my girlfriend, we took over 20 different carpools, and we completed the race in 79 hours. It was difficult to catch cars and complete race but even more challenging was surviving afterparty with 2000 other positively crazy people like me ;)

UPDATE: I can learn you how to memorize very very long numbers! (Recently I memorized 1024 pi digits.)

Obviously I can tell you about Computer Science, but let's be frank with each other, how many people can be interested in that?
It may be far more interesting to tell you about my world-view thoughts, about lessons I learned from the success and failures I'd in the past 24 years.
