I have used couchsurfing as a guest a few times, so I know that you will most likely be tired.
I don’t expect nothing from you, I’m not looking for someone to talk about my problems, not looking for someone to cook for me, not looking for someone to entertain me and I’m not looking for sex.

I host together with my wife Nastya. Unfortunately we don’t have a private room, meaning that you will sleep on the living room in on a sofa .

Please understand that you can’t stay at our my place alone, I will not give you the keys, meaning.. when we leave you leave.

My name is Joao Cardoso, I’m Portuguese and I’m 28y old.

I love nature, mountains, travel and challenges.

I really enjoy doing hitchhiking and me and my wife do it pretty much every weekend to somewhere different. (Meaning that we may not be able to host you on the weekend)

I have travelled over 17 European countries by hitchhiking and I definitely want to increase those numbers!

On the summer 2020 I went on a hitchhiking trip for two months around Europe without any money, during my trip I found out about couchsurfing and I got amaze! I had amazing experiences and met amazing people on the way!

I do think that life is amazing, I really do. Unfortunately we as a society don’t value the small and amazing simple things of life.. we don’t value the simple fact that we can choose.. a small choice can have the biggest impact on your life.. and everything depends of us, so enjoy life and do whatever makes you happy without harm others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I see this platform as a great way for travelers to meet other like minded people with similar interests, but also the way of meeting people that I would never get the chance to talk to.
