About Me

AA: After many years without a proper apartment where I couldn't host, I finally have an apartment in Dakar with my husband and we have a spare room where we would be very happy to host you 🤗

I'm French, 29 yo, I lived for 5 years in Italy and then came back for 1 year in my home town, Paris. It seemed I was not ready yet to come back so I packed my bag and I went backpacking and from Spain I reached Chile... without airplane! After my trip, I studied Humanitarian Project Management in Senegal and I am now working in the humanitarian sector in Dakar.

I love languages, learning about cultures and history of the country I visit. I'm a real foody and always want to try local food!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2020, I decided for the first time to do an alone road trip with my new bicycle in the baltics! I used CS to meet local people and learn things about the culture and history of these countries I barely knew. I found such an interesting community I cannot even put words on it. I learned a new way of travelling and of seeing the world and live your life... Some people have crazy trip stories, other don't travel but are curious about the world and travel through the stories of the people they host... Other just like to show their city and meet knew people. I made so many friends! I have to say I never thought that but travelling alone with CS, I never met this many people in such short time!

Interests

I'm a taekwondo athlete since I'm 15 yo. Now blackbelt and training to become referee for the competition.
I love hiking and swimming. When I moved to Milan, I started bicycling around the city towards the lakes and the countryside (I always used the bicycle before but only in the city), and I loved it! This started my couchsurfing adventure during a 3 week bicycle roadtrip in the Baltics.
