I’m Betsy! I have a huge passion in traveling to new places and I’m so excited to learn new culture and meet new people from all around the world. For me, traveling is therapeutic! It can freshen up my mind by forcing me to expand my comfort zones and inspire me to see, taste, and try new things. It constantly challenges me, not only to adapt and explore new surroundings, but also to engage with different people, to go on adventures as they come, and to share meaningful experiences with loved ones.

I would describe myself as a person who is adventurous, gregarious, enthusiastic, and easy-going. I enjoy solo traveling a lot, not only nationwide but also worldwide 🌎🌍🌏

The places that I have lived/visited are: Switzerland 🇨🇭 (for internship), US (for ojt) Taiwan 🇹🇼 (for competition), Thailand 🇹🇭 (for exchange study), and other countries such as China 🇨🇳, France 🇫🇷, Germany 🇩🇪, the Netherlands 🇳🇱 (for vacation)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sometimes it’s hard for me to find a platform which allows me to directly interact with multicultural people… until I met Couchsurfing! This app opens opportunities for me to be easier to “blend in” in a new environment and give chances to share ideas and experiences with local people to know how’s the life in that particular country, how’s the traditional culture, what’s the food that commonly found, what’s the fun fact about certain country that most people might not know, etc, cause that’s basically the beauty of traveling, right?
