I think it's an amazing opportunity to meet new people while travelling. I always feel like meeting the people in a city is so much more important than just seeing old buildings.

Poetry is great, especially Mascha Kaléko. I also really like detective stories (Hercule Poirot, Sherlock Holmes... and so on). Otherwise I also have a thing for „comic fantasy“ (talking Terry Prachet, Walter Moers etc. here).

I love listening and music, but have no musical talent whatsoever ( which won‘t stop me from trying to play the guitar though!)

The obvious: Couchsurfing and meeting all kinds of amazing people while travelling!!

Also, I’m not that religious but hiking from Jerusalem to Bethlehem on Christmas Night was pretty special, probably the best Christmas I had.
