Biggest flex: never felt homesick

Cycling, playing chess and watching sciencefiction movies are my biggest activities besides studying laboratory research (biology) in Groningen. There is a lot of possibilities within my studies to specialize in and virology and immunology are my biggest interests.

** TRAVEL EXPERIENCES **

Since my urge to see and travel the world started, I planned big trips by bike. At first I was limited by summer holidays only (2020 and 2021) but for this trip (2022) I will skip one semester, travelling ~7 months including 4,5 months by bike and 2,5 months to Indonesia by plane. I will travel ~6000 km to Baku in Azerbaijan going by bike and public transport. It is the most amazing way of travelling since you are seeing most of a country, having some time alone and meeting people when you arrive. My spirit is to stay active, travel a lot and appreciate the place where you are going. Do you want to become my travel companion? Take that shot and meet me!

It always amazes me how many countries I am passing by, by flying towards Indonesia 🇮🇩. I have family there and it’s time to visit them. I did it by many stop overs in Italy 🇮🇹, vatican city 🇻🇦 , UAE 🇦🇪, Nepal 🇳🇵, India 🇮🇳 and Vietnam 🇻🇳 before reaching Indonesia 🇮🇩.
