Overview
About Me
I'm Berat, I am 24 years old and I live in Karaman for now. (Also live in Istanbul and Göttingen )
I'm currently pursuing a computer engineering bachelor's degree at Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University. (Karaman, one of the safest cities in Türkiye against earthquakes)
I am solo traveller.
I love to travel and my goal is to visit half the world before I turn 35.
I have visited 20 countries so far. I'm someone who can easily adapt to new environments. I enjoy communicating with people and making friends from different parts of the world.
As I am not fluent yet, I continue to improve my language skills, but I enjoy learning about other cultures by experiencing them. I find happiness in simple things and am very attached to my freedom.
Having a healthy mindset, protecting human rights, integrity, respect and the environment is important to me. Additionally, mindfulness is another important aspect of my life. I always try to improve my knowledge and my curiosity for new things adds excitement and dynamism to my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I enjoy getting to know new cultures and meeting new people. I'm here to increase my cultural interactions. I believe that the best way to understand a place's culture is by interacting with the people who live there. Additionally, I want to make friends in the countries I visit and complete my world map. My goal is to achieve these objectives here.
