Hi everyone, I am backpacking through Europe and would love to use this opportunity to meet you.

I started in The Netherlands with a tent and went through until the German border. In Germany I have travelled parts with the bus. I've met great people in Germany that let me stay with them as long as I wanted. I stayed therefore three weeks in Munich. Which was absolutely great! Next I went to Strassbourg, I've been there only a short while. But it was beautiful Then I went to Dijon, where I have stayed a couple of days. Dijon was very surprising, it was bigger and had more opportunities to meet new people than I would have thought beforehand. Now I am looking to go in to Swiss. Thats how I ended up in Pontalier. Then I met a family in a cafe and just asked them if I could stay on their couch. The husband worked in Swiss. Therefore I could travel with him into Yverdon. Then I could Surf in Yverdon. And the next day hitchhiked to Lausanne, beautiful city. Here I was able to surf again and the next day hitchhiked to Sion. Where I kind host offered to call his friend to pick me up in Sion, because he was on a trip himself currently in Croatia. He offered and managed to let me stay at his parents house for two nights. Which was amazing I have never experienced such kindness. Then I took the train to Zermatt, where I stayed also for to nights, with a very relaxed host, who liked snowboarding a lot. He let me use his house and let me do my own thing, so that he could go apri-ski and snowboarding. I climbed the Mattehorn mountain which was amazing and I got to do what I came there for. Now I am looking to go into Italy.

A few words about myself - I am Anouk, 28 years old from Amsterdam The Netherlands. I have worked for 5 years as an trainee engineer for a big Oil & Gas Engineering company from Australia. Besides working the past 5 years I also did a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering at one of the applied universities in The Netherlands. I am a fan of football and love to listen to music and just chill.

I like also like to talk about life and discuss things about spiritual things and other not so obvious things. I am flexible, I will talk about anything. Or leave you do your thing. Everything what I own is in my backpack and I love it. I am vegan, but have no special needs ;)
