I intend to spend my upcoming summer vacation in Australia for 1 month!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

4 year ago I was working in Australia with 1 year working visa. Housing was expensive so I soon decide to sleep outside. One night when I was sleeping in a couch of 24 convinent store in Brisbane, this guy in his 50 approached me, asking me if I don't have any place to sleep.
I said yes, and he said if I wanna come to his house and sleep. At first I thought this was suspicious but I didn't wanna sleep in couch in convenient store so I got to his car half relived half uncertain.
There while we were talking we found that we both like physics so we talk about Einstein and theories, and watched documentary called cosmos. We had a deep conversation about meaning of big bang, cosmology, and at the end of serious discussion we watched American comedy movies about north korea and laughed so much.
Then, he went to his neighbor and introduced me to them, they were decendents of Native Australian. I sang korean song for them when one of elders requested me and had a wonderful experience, Man I didn't know how this invite from total stranger would be turned so much meaningful, and heartwarming.
It was the best experience of my life, to stay at strangers with good will and share each other's passion and watch movie together.

So this experience taught me that couch surfing can me wonderful life experience. And to this day I love Australia.
