Bonjour ! I'm Arnault from Lyon, France and I recently moved to Madrid to finish my master's degree.

I'm a fervent adventurer and I'm mostly on this app to be able to meet new people and cultures while traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm essentially here to meet new people during my trips, whether it'd be through staying at someone’s place or hanging out with locals and other travelers :)
Sometimes, I can also host surfers, depending on my plans.

Interests

I love hanging out with friends, going out for dinner, chilling in a park or dancing all night long. I'm also very close to the nature and everything related to it : Plants, animals, hiking... I love thrift store and bric-a-brac!

I literally like all kind of music : Rap, indie music, classical music, reggeaton, rock, brazilian funk, afrobeat...

But I must say techno (mental, indus, acid) is my favorite type of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are a few but here are the first that comes in mind:

- Leaving home and family at 14 years old to do a 3 months high school exchange in Madrid, Spain 🇪🇸 coming back exactly 10 years later to finish my master’s degree
- Leaving home and family again, at 16 years, old to do an exchange year in Nashville, USA 🇺🇸
- My interrail trip across 18 European countries at 20 years old 🇪🇺
- My 2 months internship on the Caribbean cost of Colombia 🇨🇴
- Spending 2 months in India 🇮🇳 & Nepal 🇳🇵
- Living 6 months in Benin 🇧🇯 and 3 months in The Gambia 🇬🇲
- Riding the iron ore train for 14 hours in Mauritania 🇲🇷
