Hi there!

I'm Maria, I was born in a small city in Spain called Albacete and I studied a teaching degree at university and then decided to move to London. After three years, I felt I wanted to come back to my country and I am currently living in sunny Málaga where I work as a teacher in a school.

I'm open-minded, naturally curious and quite flexible about what life brings. In the past few years, I've learnt to improvise more and live in the present. I don't like to plan things ahead and that makes life much more interesting! I love meeting new people and chatting, hanging out together... but I also enjoy time on my own!

I love animals however I am allergic to cats and dogs.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to all kind of music and also love dancing. I have to say that I am not a very movie person but I like watching comedies. Reading is one of my hobbies, especially books about self-care, but lately I have been reading about philosofy and nutrition!

I also like to keep updated about different ways of teaching that promote creativity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last month I quit my job teaching in a school after eight years!

I love eating and cooking food from all around the world. Although most of the times, I eat plant-based food (I rarely buy meat at the supermarket), I am flexible about eating other types of food.
