I come from a small village from western Bohemia. I'm used to travel only for a short time with my friends but last year I decided to gain new experience and signed up for Erasmus. I am currently studying in Portugal. I enjoy my stay, visiting beautiful places and meeting interesting people. I love trips to nature and walking my lovely dog.
I got the idea to join Couchsurfing community during my exchange studies in Portugal. That's why I am not hosting and why I haven't hosted anyone yet.
Back at my home university, I am a volunteer in the Erasmus Students Network which aims to help exchange students during their study abroad. It seems to me that Couchsurfing works similarly and share the same values.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing recently. I flew to Portugal for an erasmus and I would like to get to know not only beautiful places during my stay, but also interesting people growing up in a different culture and other ways of life. The application was recommended to me by friends. They love Couchsurfing for the posibility to meet people who they wouldn't have had a chance to meet under other circumstances.

Música, películas y libros

I'm a fan of almost all kinds of music. My favorite bands would be Foo Fighters, Pink floyd or Pearl Jam. I like to go to concerts, but I even prefer summer music festivals. In the Czech Republic, it is common to travel in nature and in the evening by the fire to play the guitar and sing Czech songs ... I really like such moments. Of course, I also like to watch movies. My favorites would include Czech films with specific Czech humor, as well as foreign favorites. In my free time I also watch series, currently I watch Breaking Bad.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I spent one amazing week on the island of Rügen learning windsurfing. Or the most amazing thing is that I have signed up for an Erasmus exchange and I am currently experiencing an amazing period full of discovering the new things and beauties of Portugal.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I can share with them my travel experience mainly in my home country and Slovakia, where there are a lot of wonderful places. Maybe my opinions, the point of view, culture and Czech language. :D In the worst case, I can cook (try to cook) some traditional Czech meal. :D Czech cuisine is not very widespread in the world.
