Overview
About Me
EN: Colombian biologist. If you're looking to my photos you will probably never see me without my hat and my bag (typical from my country), that I carry with me everywhere I go. Passionate for travel, science and history, and also I'm a bit into geek and gamer cultures. I've been living in Spain almost for two years. I studied a master in Pharmacology and now I'm finishing my master degree in Neuroscience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
EN: Every time I can, I grab my bag and my camera to visit different places, across different countries. There, one of my favorite activities are right after tasting the local beer, is getting to know new people. After being a season in Barcelona, I realized that traveling allows you to know a lot of people from different countries, cultures and believes, which is one of the most important parts of visit a new place. To get yourself in direct contact with the locals, and their day-to-day living.
As a latinamerican, I'm very used to recieve visits from my friends, or to visit them and stay in on their place for a couple of days, getting to know the local culture and the day to day living. I know that better than everything this app will give me the chance to do it in both ways. I believe that this is not just a way to save money, but to really transform the experience of travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books
🍿: Wes Anderson (most of his movies), MCU 🦸🏻♂️, Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Disney (and also non-comercial movies).
🎵: my music taste is wide and varied, I can listen from Pop, Rock or Indie, to bachata, salsa or even Reggaeton (Bach, Vivaldi,, Chaikovski & Mozzart are in my playlists too!).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
EN: During my short age I have worked in almost 8 different jobs, coming from bagger in the supermarket, to highschool teacher. After finishing my highschool, I started to study biology, while my passion for science and teaching lead me to spend the saturdays teaching children to write and read in sectors of social interest.
Teach, Learn, Share
EN: As a scientist and a teacher, my favorite things are to learn and share what I know with the persons that want to hear it (from science to dance salsa or to cook arepas). Even a conversation with a good drink can show you a different perspective of superficial things, or even deep thoughts. In the best scenario, I'm very willing to learn whatever you want to share with me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
EN: I'm always very willing to give company and sharing my culture with the host that can receive me. As well as to assist in any labour that their place require or to share the expenses of public services if necessary. One of the values appreciate the most is service, and just not because a person let me stay in their place, but because most of latinarmericans were taught to bring our help to anyone that need it.
