Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

This is my first time trying couchsurfing. I will be volunteering on a farm on Vancouver Island, but before that I have 3 days for myself. I tough it would be a good opportunity to try something new, visit Victoria, connect more with the place and meet people who live there. :)

Música, películas y libros

Anything funky feels good to my ears! Otherwise it's hard to make a list, I like many different things : jazz, hip-hop, klezmer, québécois music...
My favorites movie makers are Wes Anderson and Miyazaki without hesitation!
And for the books I tend to be really more attracted to graphic novels, I like to read a story with images. One of my favorite ones : "moi aussi je voulais l'emporter" by Julie Delporte.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I lived for a month and a half on a farm community where people practice non violent communication and emotional intelligence, and I found it was a pretty amazing experience! I really loved connecting with many beautiful humans and sharing with them (not only the work but also nice evenings, stories, laughs, hughs...) This lifestyle is really appealing to me : building meaningful relationships and trying to live in a sustainable way.

I generally like to learn whatever someone is passionate about. Recently I have a special interest for agriculture, permaculture, self-sufficiency, community living...but I would really like to learn more about anthropology, sociology, psychology, biology and many other "gy" :) I wish to learn practical skills too, mostly crafts like dying fabrics or making my own natural paints. Practical thing around wildness survival too. Oh and also Spanish!
Otherwise I always like to share about art (visual art mostly). I also like to share personal experiences/tools that helped me in life if that can help others.
